Airport West is defined by single-storey post-war brick veneer homes from the 1950s and 60s, typically with original aluminium sliding doors, steel-framed windows and 60s bathrooms still doing the job. A growing pocket of newer townhouses sits closer to Westfield and along Louis Street.
